Role Description
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and leading warehouse staff to meet productivity and accuracy targets. To ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain optimal stock levels, and streamline processes to improve efficiency.
- Prepare invoices, pick lists and efficient delivery routes for delivery persons
- Process returned items so credit notes can be issued
- Overseeing daily delivery routes, according to dates as agreed with clients
- Checking and inspecting goods received (imports) and ensuring that quantities tally with those ordered type and acceptable quality
- Always keep inventory current and schedule stock take as necessary
- Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Perform other duties, from time to time, as requested by the nature of the position or as requested by management
Qualifications
- Inventory Management and Operational Policy Implementation skills
- Experience in enhancing operational systems and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Customer Service, Staff Performance Management, and Problem-Solving skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Prior experience in management within the food and beverage industry
