Software Delivery Manager Industry Leader

We are working with a well-established product-based company in Brisbane who work with some of the world’s biggest brands.

Due to growth within their group, they are looking for a hands-on delivery manager to revolution is the tech department.

They are modernising everything and looking to use more AI as they go forward, and this hire will play a key role in that!

The role will be 60/40 management and development.

Over 8 years of experience in software development, with deep expertise across NET cloud platforms AWS or Azure, and modern front-end frameworks like Angular.
Strong background in software architecture, design principles, and scalable system patterns.
Well-versed in version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile delivery practices.
Solid understanding of the full product development life cycle, from concept to release.
Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams.
Skilled in coordinating complex software deliveries within collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Coordinate and oversee the delivery of new software features and enhancements.
Develop clear, lightweight delivery plans and track progress against key milestones.
Communicate timelines, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders with transparency and clarity.
Identify and resolve delivery challenges, monitor defects and trends, and remove blockers for the team.
Act as the escalation point for both technical and delivery-related issues.
Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions and enhancements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide hands-on technical mentorship to the development team.
Contribute to architectural and technical design discussions to guide long-term decisions.
Troubleshoot complex issues and optimise system performance.
Implement automated testing and drive ongoing improvements to CI/CD pipelines.
